Speaking Engagement: DECA Ontario – Toronto Regionals

The Marquee Group was pleased to present a series of Financial Statement Analysis workshops to students competing at the Toronto Regionals hosted by DECA Ontario.

DECA Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that organizes business competitions and events for high school and university students. Its mission is to prepare future leaders for careers in business. DECA Ontario is one of 60 international delegations of DECA Inc. and is the second-largest DECA association in the world.

Over 1,500 students from high schools across the Greater Toronto Area competed in various divisions at Cedarbrae CI. Ian Schnoor and Chantal Giurlanda of The Marquee Group co-presented sessions on Financial Statement Analysis to over 60 high school students at Cedarbrae Collegiate Institute. Marquee provided an overview of financial statements and offered valuable tips for telling a compelling story of a business using numbers and other finance metrics.
